Welcome to Lover Of Music. My name is Kerry, and I am the creator of this site. I started this blog to share my passion for all things music with other music lovers.
I don’t know about you, but when I’m feeling stressed and tired, there’s nothing I enjoy more than plugging in my earphones, shutting out the world, and singing along to my favorite songs, whether that be pop, rock, R&B, and more. I love most music genres.
I started singing in high school. Then, at 18 years, when I was legally old enough, I sang in pubs and clubs for a living, did a little DJing, ran karaoke nights, and later wrote and recorded some of my own songs in a professional studio which was a total blast.
Regretfully though, in my late twenties, I stopped. Not intentionally. Life just got busy. You know how it is. I became a mum. Priorities changed. The unexpected happened. And before I knew it, almost two decades had passed by.
Now, like most people, and you may be able to relate to this: I am in my forties, realizing that I’m halfway through life and feeling like I’ve wasted so much time. So, I’ve decided to spend what’s left of life doing what I love most – filling my days with music and singing until my hearts content.
Although I have no plans to start singing professionally again, I am taking singing lessons and learning how to play musical instruments, starting with the piano.
